mentoring and guiding the team through a busy service and you get a buzz off planning and delivering a successful shift. You are

passionate about training people and watching them flourish in the hospitality world, imparting your knowledge on others is what truly drives you. You enjoy taking on extra responsibilities and learning new things such as social media, stock takes and ordering

£24,500 to £27,000 depending on experience and position

Who are you?

As an Assistant Manager with The Church Inn you will be the person people come to visit to provide them with a warm

welcome and friendly company alongside great food and drink recommendations. You will have high attention to detail to ensure

the highest standards of customer service at met not only by yourself but by every one of your front of house team. You will instil the

knowledge within your team members and proactively develop the future managers within your team. You will be responsible for stock control, ordering, sales driving, team building as well as ensuring service is speedy and efficient whilst creating relationships with our regulars and maintaining an industry-leading guest journey

If the General Manager position is what you’re aiming for we will provide you with the tools become an all-rounder before progressing to the next step up. Training is integral to the role from the get go and we have a detailed training and development programme to keep you engaged and set you up for success

What’s expected of you?

  • Liaise with the AGM and GM to communicate any training
  • Liaise with the AGM and GM to complete a costed rota for your team
  • Conduct perfect inductions with your team to company standards
  • Ensure the front of house is H&S and hygienically compliant
  • Actively monitor the progress of your team, conduct training sessions and arrange

them externally

  • Liaise with the events manager to ensure each event is an operational success
