The Church Inn, Mobberley

The Church Inn is a traditional 18th century country inn located opposite the 12th century St. Wilfrid’s Church in the leafy village of Mobberley. Weddings at the Church Inn are cosy and intimate, taking place in either our award-winning private dining room or in our garden, overlooking Cheshire countryside at its finest.

Enjoy a delicious three-course wedding breakfast in our George Mallory room, which seats up to 22 people, with a real log fire, candles, antique furniture and delicious, home-cooked food. Our chefs are fiercely passionate about providing seasonal dishes, locally sourced and lovingly prepared and presented. So often food is forgotten at weddings, but not at a Church Inn wedding!

If you would prefer a slightly larger, more informal wedding reception, we offer exclusive use of our garden and a marquee for up to 55 people. Here you can enjoy canapes and aperitifs on the terrace, followed by a seasonal buffet and homemade desserts.

We provide an outdoor bar and there is plenty of space for live music, a DJ and dancing. It is a perfect location for a laid-back, country wedding reception.​
